CANCER COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA

Daffodil Day

Each year Cancer Council Australia raises much needed funds for cancer research through the sale of daffodils on Daffodil Day.

The '1 in 3' campaign helped to highlight the startling statistic that 1 in 3 Australians will get cancer and make it meaningful for people by highlighting that cancer is something that affects all of us.

The 'believers' campaign moved people from being just supports or a charity to believers in a cause.

I'm happy to say both campaigns helped people connect with the cause in a powerful way and saw fund raising targets be exceeded by a couple of million dollars each year the campaigns ran.

Believers

For the "believers" campaign we wanted to show that many obstacles in history have been overcome by people who believed there was a way through. Here we refashioned supporters of Daffodil Day into "believers" in a cure for cancer.
